This policy explains what information Everbright Legacy Law PLLC (“Everbright,” “we,” “us”) collects through everbrightlegacy.com, our forms, our emails and our text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you are a client, the confidentiality rules that govern attorneys also protect everything you share with us as part of your legal matter.

Information you give us

  • Contact and intake forms: your name, email, phone number, the message you write and, if you continue, answers to our intake questions. We use this to respond to you and decide whether we can help.
  • Newsletter and event signups: your name, email and the topics you choose. We use this to send the newsletters and event information you asked for.
  • Webinar feedback and surveys: your ratings, comments and contact details, if you provide them.
  • Payments: handled by our payment processor. We do not store card numbers.

Please do not send time-sensitive details, such as court deadlines, through the website. Contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship. See our disclaimer.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. These tools may record pages viewed, links clicked, device and browser type, approximate location, how you arrived at our site, and how you move through a page. We use:

  • Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure visits and the results of our ads.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure and improve our ads.
  • PostHog and Hotjar to see how visitors use our pages, including session recordings. Text you type into form fields is masked and not recorded.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the results of our LinkedIn activity.
  • Ahrefs Web Analytics to measure site traffic without advertising cookies.
  • Vimeo and YouTube when you watch an embedded video.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messages

If you check the box to receive text messages, we may text you about your inquiry, including callbacks, follow-up questions and links to our intake forms. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not required to work with us. Mobile phone numbers and text message consent are not shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing purposes.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run our firm and website, and only for that purpose. They include our website host (Kinsta), email services (Mailchimp and SendGrid), our client intake and practice management tools, our marketing agency (BWdB) and the analytics providers listed above. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from emails with the link at the bottom of any newsletter.
  • Reply STOP to any text to stop text messages.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and your Meta ad preferences.
  • Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@everbrightlegacy.com. Some records must be kept to meet our professional obligations.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and marketing information as long as it is useful to respond to you or as long as you stay subscribed. We keep client records as required by the rules that govern lawyers in Minnesota.

Security

We use physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your information. We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
